About the Doctors from Indiana

The husband and wife medical team of Christopher Magiera, MD, and Pam Galloway, MD, have been involved in the political aspects of medical care for many years.

Dr. Magiera

A 4th generation Hoosier from South Bend, Dr. Magiera is a board certified Gastroenterologist. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago (where he met his future wife, Pam), and his MD degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, OH. His career is now in its 30th year. He has a wide variety of experience and has practiced in Ohio, Wisconsin and Indiana in independent, private solo and group practice, as well as working for large health care systems. While living in Wisconsin, Dr. Magiera was appointed to the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board by Governor Scott Walker.

Dr. Pam Galloway

Dr. Pam Galloway has an extensive educational and practice background. After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Chicago, she attended the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA, and received her MD degree in 1980. She has been board certified in Anatomic, Clinical and Neuropathology, as well as General Surgery. Her practice experience includes both laboratory research and clinical patient care. In the last years of her surgical practice, she concentrated on breast cancer treatment, and established an independent, solo practice, the Breast Center of Central Wisconsin. In 2010, Dr. Galloway was elected to the Wisconsin State Senate, where she was a key supporter of Governor Scott Walker and his landmark reforms. In 2016, she ran in the Republican primary for the US House of Representatives in the 3rd District of Indiana. Although not victorious in that endeavor, she, along with Dr. Magiera, continue to be active in both Indiana State and Federal legislative issues.

Although Dr. Magiera is currently practicing in Lafayette, IN, they also reside in the family home in Warsaw, IN.
